Post your organization's activities

Instructions on how to set an account for your organization so that you may post events up are as follows:

1. How to create an email for your organization
- Create an email account for your organization. If you don't have one already, gmail is preferred. In order to create a gmail account you may sign up at gmail.com by clicking "sign up now", or you can request an invitation. CMSC can send you an invite to create an e-mail address. Just send an email to uic.cmsc@gmail.com requesting an invite for a gmail account.
- Keep in mind when creating your account that your organization email address should reflect the name of your organization.

2. How to create a calendar account
- Create a gmail calendar account by going to http://calendar.google.com
- If you have a gmail account, you just type in your email and password.  If you have another account for your organization, click Create a new google account, and then follow the instructions.
- Once you have the calendar account set up, email uic.cmsc@gmail.com requesting access to post events on the calendar.

3. How to post events
- Click Create Event in upper left corner
- Fill in details of event
- *Be sure to select UIC CMSC as the calendar in the calendar drop down menu, otherwise no one will be able to see your event except you.*
- Leave the privacy option as default
- Check to make sure your event showed up by opening a new browser and going to the web address
